As an intern or trainee at mk, you can see how exciting a career in mechanical engineering can be at first hand. You will work on real projects, gain practical experience and work with members of the team, who will help you develop your skills.

We are looking for someone who participate rather than observe. You will work directly with a team, receive great support from our trainers and have good chances of being taken on at the end of the apprenticeship. What do we expect from you in return? We offer internships for students throughout the year. It is best if you send us your application six months in advance so that we can review it in good time. After that, we will invite you to an interview and possibly a taster day.
We also carry out cooperation projects with schools, such as robot workshops and career exploration days. We provide students with insights into various professions and our training opportunities during those events.
Invite the apprentice ambassador to your class
If you and your classmates want to find out more about training at mk, simply ask your teacher to contact the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg Chamber of Commerce and Industry to set up an appointment. The ambassador tells you about their first-hand experience and provides information about the professions and tips for your applications.

The application phase for the next year of training starts every year in October. At the latest, we should receive your documents by February.
